I added the 16GBx2 modules to my brand new 2017 iMac 5K 3.8 (purchased in September 2017) and just like MCannon and Seattle Guy my iMac would not boot up while the new memory was installed. Moved the Apple ram to the other slots and it works fine so the slots are all functioning. I added the 2x16GB modules to my brand new 2017 iMac 5K (purchased in September 2017) and just like MCannon my iMac would not boot up while the new memory was installed. My 2017 IMAC failed to boot while this memory was installed. This did not work with my late 2013 iMac.
